Texas Holdem Tournament $500,000 payout Nov 14-19
Celebrate Treasure Island's new Poker Room by entering Minnesota's largest No Limit Hold 'em Tournament on November 14-19 at The Island! We are giving away $500,000 in cash prizes with $250,000 going to the first place winner!
I will post up when I find out the details as far as times and enty fees. I should know the exact entry fee and scoop on this by next week. My crew just reconfigured about 100 slot machines last night to accommodate the new poker room. Its actually pretty nice, it has 50 inch plasma TVs all over to let you know your place on the waiting list and its non smoking. Its a really nice setup. The room itself isn't that large as of now but if it takes off we will be expanding it based on how much interest there is. I think there are 10 tables as of right now just as a test.
Post up in here if you are interested and then I will get all the information needed for you to enter. Rumor has it that there are already RSVPs for a few 'big names' in the poker world that are venturing up here to play.
In case some of you didn't know I am the Lead Slot Performance Technician down at Treasure Island Resort and Casino so I have my hands in all the preperations for this new attraction.
The poker room will also be offering 7 Card Stud and Omaha.
Hope to see you down there.

Yeah like I said I am not 100% sure on the entry fee so I didn't post it up. As soon as I know I will post it up.

Re: Texas Holdem Tournament $500,000 payout Nov 14-19
Entry fee is $1,100 however Sit and Go Tournaments will be played throughout the month with an entry fee of $120. First place winner will receive the $1,000 seat along with $100 cash.
Thats the scoop on the entry fee as of now. The reason that it is so high is because there are already verbal reservations with tons of big name players from out of the state. I thought that it was only going to be a few but I guess there are a lot more than that. And they know they are not going to have a hard time filling the tournament up. The preliminary capacity for the tournament is 500 people.
I guess the best to get in would be to win one of the Sit and Go tournaments and get a free spot in the big tournament. $1,100 is a lot of cash.

There had better not be more than 20, that is a pretty small prize.

Sit and go's are usually one table. If you think about it 10 poeple times $120 per will add up to the entry fee and they'll keep the rest. I believe that's how it works.
