Ice Racing?!

Hey guys, this is going to be my first winter here, and I'll be driving my AWD Laser through it.

I want to make the best of it, and didn't realize you guys race on ice!

Anyone have a schedule of events or anything?

I race dirtbike on ice but I know there are a lot of races where cars race at the same events.

I dont know why www.cwira.com isnt working. Stands for Central Wisconsin Ice Racing Association. There is one in MN but most the tracks suck and are not made right. Plus there is not a lot of races/tracks to go to.

The Rally-MN yahoo group has had some post on it. Be cool to see some of the cars on here get out and do more than break or go straight.

What class do you race? I ice race here in Colorado. I am not all that great but I do pretty good in Studded 301+cc B. My old roomate is the best in this area by far...he is from Minn, Davey Durelle. He has been dirt track and ice racing for many many many years!
