Wierd Knock readings

first off, I have a 1G, 550's, big 16G, front mount, and i use MMCD and a pocket logger. What I've noticed is that when the motor isn't quite warmed up, and say i like just roll through a stop sign, then just barly get on it in 2nd gear, no boost or nothin, my knock will jump up to 43, and it will stay there till I let off. Once its warm, It's usually fine, like maybe .1% of the time it will do it. It functions like normal otherwise. Is there a computer thing to try and keep you from runnig hard when cold? or just a funky senser? or possably loose or somthin?
