AWD gears in a FWD case?

Can AWD gears in a 90' Talon TSI, be put in a 92 talon esi case... because im having major troubles with 3/4/5th gear... 3rd pops out a lil bit, 4th i cant even use, it wont stay in gear under throttle... and 5th comes out allll the time when just driving on the high way and stuff.

Id like to know if everything is interchangable so i can fix these problems
