BIR May 25

BIR is doing the Wed. night racing. http://brainerd.com/bir/ Gonna have a few people from STC going up on the 25th, weather pending. Anyone else? I believe racing starts around 4pm and they close down at dusk or around 8-9 depending on the number of cars/people which show up.

Actually they close the track down around 7:30, at least they did last time we raced. I hope this won't be a trend for later this year. I'll be going, so who else is going to race?

They close the track down at dusk, so the time will vary. I was at the last Wednesday night drag of last year and it was 7:30pm, but that is when the sun went down.

I'm sure at this time of year, they could keep it open to at least 8:30pm. Maybe even 9pm.

This year will not be like last year, we had a good hour of sun AFTER it was shut down earlier this month. The word is because the track is again on hiatus and apparantly shutting down at the end of this season, possibly just won't be open as late as usuall. That and the number of volunteers working.
