Question Looking for some Mandrel pipe

I'm working on my Magnus project. I need some mandrel pipe to finish the job. I need 2 1/2" and approx. 70* bend. I have a 45* and a 90*, one is not enough and the other is too much. Does anyone know where i can get that?

Thanks.

Re: Looking for some Mandrel pipe

Just cut the 90 at an angle. If you do not want to do that, call Mike at QPR or PM jet.

Cut the 90*? Probably will be the fastest way you will get a 70* bend is if you cut the 90* pipe. I dont know anyone around here that has a mandrel bender cause they are very expensive. Just my $.02~

Cut 90, make 70, weld together, grind off welds, polish or paint

I dont know any mandrel places around here but it would be spendy anyway.

Yes, i know what you mean. Cut the 90*, grind or cut an angle on each half and rejoin the 2. Works for me.

Thanks.

Cremco (i believe is the name) is in Lichfield, MN. Can pretty much get whatever you need. They have the actual mandrel bending machine...
