For finally getting the 1G back to life. If anyone hasn't seen this car, it is one of the nicest 1G's for street in the area, well worth checking out!

Looks really good Steve! :3gears: Enjoy it!

We didn't get pics of it so Steve will have to post them. Peter, this is the redish colored one that took 3rd at the cookout the year before last. It is quite a bit nicer than it was then even. I am sure the pics will come soon. I want some for the QPR site anyway, we touched a thing or two on it

Does it still have yellow brake calipers and a yellow VC? I remember that year at the cookout. I lost and then lost again this year :razz2:

Thanks guys for the nice comments, it feels like a huge accomplishment to finally have it done. It could have been done a while ago, but my lack of time and anal retentiveness kept that from happening. Anyhow, I've been out enjoying it these last few days, hence I haven't been on the board. I'll get some pics in another day or two once I get a nice day to clean it up.

Yes Eric, that is the car you are thinking of although the valve cover and front brakes are gone. Still waiting to do the rears.

Chris, I'll try stopping up sometime soon. I think you'll understand why I haven't gotten back to you yet!
