Ok with winter coming what are your plans for your cars this winter?

Be fun to see how far everyone gets on there cars by spring.

I'm sure most of you already have read some of the things I'm looking to do/have to do.

But incase you missed it. My steps are going to be building a motor to replace my crankwalked/spun bearing 7bolt. Then move on from there as money allows.

Step 1:
-Building hopefuly a 6 bolt 2.4L
-Eagle Rods/Wiseco piston combo

Step 2:
-Porting the hell out of my 2G Head
-Port matching all my manifolds, etc

Step 3: Hope to do this while my motors getting built
-6point Cage
-Weld in new plates for my Front Struts
-If my interior can't be keeped, Like to sheet metal the interior that couldn't be kept
-Paint the cage/welds/interior where needed to maintaine the "white" look
-Sparco 5 point camlock Harness's

Step 4:
-New OEM control arm
-New OEM Master Slave Cylinder
-Front Power Slot Rotors
-Hawk brake Pads
-SS Brake Lines

Step 5:
All the rest of the sparco/Color Scheme I posted in the other thread.

Like I said this is my wish list, my focus is 1 step at a time. The only thing I might be looking at that will change this "Step" list. Is I'm considering selling the Concord for an SUV/Tow Vehicle. Which might hind how far I get on my list by next year.

Anyways What are your guy's plans for the winter?

Drive the 1.8 into a snow bank 20 or 30 times, fix the truck, and try not to eat the yellow snow.

More power. New intake manifold/bigger injectors/i/c piping/co2 spray from fx and turn up boost and re-tune. I wish I could get dog box tranny and bigger turbo, but I cannot.

Haha plans....

Only thing Im doing is getting it to shift, and that will happen this fall hopefully in the next two weeks.

-Install tranny w/new fork/ball/TOB.
-Rip out pedal assembly - counting down the hours of that doom planned for this friday...

If it still has problems then I give up and someone here can buy it

Otherwise it will be fixed but nothing will be upgraded so it will sleep until spring

Slap some snow tires on the Volvo, and go have some RWD fun in the snow, while the 240 sits in the garage, and parts collect in the closet. I don't really have room to work on the car in the garage, so I wont really be working on it this winter. But once the weather turns nice again, hopefully I will have some nice fat meats to put on it, and maybe some coil overs. Right now, I'm leaning torwards some 17 x 9 rims with 245-45-17 tires. Then after that, it's just a matter of adding power to get those wheels to actually turn.

Keep my car the way it is all winter. No winter-beater...so that sucks! Work...save money...stock up on parts and install once snow starts to melt. Going for Low 13's next spring...YEAAHH!

Get the silver car back in running order. I am not going to be putting any more mods on it besides what I have planned. Basically just bigger cams and an intake manifold.

I would also like to start on my next project, a 0g! Let's just say it will be the fastest 0g in town, not like that is going to take much though.

If it's not sold, get a fuel system and seek way towards 700 and a solid drivetrain.... (is that possible?)
