It's a 1989 Volvo 240DL. It's my winter beater. I'm sure it was a very nice and expensive car back in the day. It's still nice for a 15 year old car, but it definitely wasn't expensive. $400 :bounce:

Not quite. There's very little rust on it, just a spot behind the front wheel where the paint was chipped. The paint is faded alot on the hood, but it looks like a good solid body with only a few dents here and there. Overall, pretty good shape for a 15 year old car though.

Funny thing about Volvo's is that you can fit a Ford 5.0 V8 into the 240 using the same motor mounts, and even the stock Volvo tranny (bell housing is the same). Wierd huh. :idea:

but at least its an 89, shouldnt have all of the common problems that the older ones did....at least not yet
