Well, I think I just bought a bike.
85 Kawasaki 750 Turbo.
Its a DOHC fuel injected turbo, back in 85 it ran 11.1s @120mph
Well, the bike is out of state, and I still have to work out payment and shipping/ pickup.
It will be 2-3 weeks before he gets the title from his brother, so probably a month before I get the bike.

There were actually. I had three of them, the Yamaha Seca XJ650. Not sure when they quit making the honduh CX and the Suzuiki, but all the big four had a factory turbo bike out in the early/mid 80's. The Kawi was the first production bike in the 10's in the 1320 and was by far the fastest factory turbo. Being fuel injected also made it different that the others. The honduh was a slug and the Suzuki was the rarest but nice and quick. They are all fun though.

And Chris, you suck, I have been looking for a good deal on one of the Kawi's for years.

1982 Honda CX 500 Tc Turbo
1982-83 Yamaha XJ650 Lj/Lk Seca Turbo
1983 Honda CX 650 Td Turbo
1983 Suzuki XN85D Turbo
1984-85 Kawasaki ZX750E1/2 Turbos

Those are the ones im aware of, and the kawa being the last to production.
4500 in 84 and 1500 in 85.

But then there was the 78/79 Z1RTC, very very very rare and the fastest!, and a dealer bike, but not factory. About 250 per year made if i remember.

Its now safely in the back of my truck, time for a day of cleaning on it!
W0ot!
The last 2 days sucked hard core, drove 10 hrs straight on sat, got 4 hrs sleep, and drove 16 hrs yesterday in a stadard cab dakota, and got home about midnight!

Few notes, heavy rains really slow down a road trip, and so does sitting in traffic in Chicago.. 3mph for a good 45 mins at MIDNIGHT!! WTF!?

I will say this, i would NEVER live in chicago..
