What's it worth? Matco 44" wide toolbox (red)

What's it worth? Matco 44" wide toolbox (red)

I'm thinking about selling this, i work mostly on my car at my friends house since he has most of my bigger tools over there and i'm slowly moving everything over there now.

This means i don't really need something this fancy or big and I'm wondering how much I can sell it for, i figured with so many mechanics on here and people that know everything I'd be able to get a good estimate on what it is worth.

pics to come.

What's the actual model of the box? How old is it? What kind of condition is it in?

It's in good condition, I'll have to check the model number when I get home.

Yeah it's Tom, that's a smaller box though, but still around $1k or so at least I would think.

That looks like it would be a great starter box for a general service tech or someone that wants a really solid box for their garage... I'd guess $1200-$1500 would be a reasonable asking price since it is used but I'd see what it's actually worth before you go by assumption haha.

I'd say $1200 is a little rich as it's definitely older. I think I paid $800 for mine, newer, more drawers. I'd say $800-$1000.

Call Tom Pearson with the model #and he'll make you an offer.
He's a Matco dealer and a good buddy of mine.
