1G in the Northland!

Hey guys, just picked up a TSI/AWD from another member here on the board, have had zero problems, changed the oil, buffed and waxed and shes ready to go! Only real mods are a 16g and an eBay BOV....
I do have a turbo back exhaust (all ebay...) arriving in the next day or two, that with a full tune up and some TLC, it will be a great driver.

Pics moved to project talk

Probably just drive it close to as is for the winter, I bought it as a winter driver after all. I've been saving to build my 4th gen Z28 in the snowy months, but we will see! I had a 1991 GST as my first car, I've been nostalgic since I've bought it lol. So, who knows in the future, all I can say for sure is that I'll be washing the car a LOT this winter.

Car looks super clean. I would use the z28 as a winter beater.

Re: 1G in the Northland!

Why drive it in the winter? Some idiot driver is just going to crash into you or it's going to rust out. Screw the Z28 and put this thing in the garage for the winter and build it! I'm guessing if it has a 16g it has DSMlink or some other way to tune it so your half way there.

Re: 1G in the Northland!

Because, I still like domestics, and want to keep this one rust free and under 85k miles. The Talon has rust, lots of dents/scratches, and is a good driver.
