well if your thinking that was a test drive i would have to disagree, look at the exhaust they guy just hadn't gotten his plates yet. but what an idiot, the wing still looks good, that must have been at about 170 mph

lol aj that was great!

actually I don't think that was a testdrive and the best theory I have heard was that it fell off the back of the truck aka the back end crunched up in the air and then was hit by a simi and then went into a fence or woods aka the wood through the hood.

Also I am pretty sure that the exaust is not aftermarket. I was looking at the scooby website and it had a crome muffler/ preformance option for the sti.

Also I think the sti can only go about 155 (I saw a test that said 155+ which probably means 155-160)

I am not trying to start a flame threat cause any of this could be wrong just what I have heard.

Also anyone know if the airbags will go off if a car isn't running. If not that would kill the above theroy.

:edit: also on the other boards people mentioned the wing being fine but what is unusal is it looks like it flipped over cause of all the damage to the hood and the roof.

i would say it was being driven at the time, rather than falling off a truck. it has a dealer tag on it. cars usually dont see trailers again after they get their dealer tags.

I really don't know if I want to know what happened to cause damage that horrific or what happened to the person driving that car if in fact it was being driven.

I would say it came to rest on a telephone pole. Look at the second picture down the pole went from the left rear tire to the middle of the roof, but I have no idea how the rest of the crap happend. :gayflag:

Jackass 2, the movie. Bigger and better. Instead of renting a car, we'll just test drive one right off the dealer lot and drive it straight to the demo derby.

LOL, between you, Erik, and AJ, I'm sure that the car would be in damn fine shape after the derby.

Yeah someone else on another board mentioned that it wouldn't have a tag from a dealer if it were on a turck. From the back it looks like it hit a tree or a big pole from the rear door but how the hell did the rest happen... I mean it could have rolded over but both back sides were just crushed. Also if something hit if from behind or w/e it would have caused alot more damage to the rear corner like crushing it in instead of pushing it up in the air. It looks like it either was hit hard or fell on that side (which could happen since it has that much damage if it hit something and went up in the air then hit something under the right rear side.... who know but how the hell did the wood get in there?

it rolled
the tires hold air and only one wheel is slightly bent
there is no significant front end damage besides the peice of wood
it looks like it was hit HARD on the passneger side, and rolled nose toward the ground, where it skimmed a fence, ripped the bumper off, and picked up a fencepost, then contiued on spintering the fencepost at the bottom.
after that it looks like it landed on its left rear corner.

maybe it did fall off the truck though, since it doesnt look like anyone was extraced from the vehicle, unless the driver side door is in tact enough to still open and close, which i doubt.

^ just my theory
