I get an email from my brother about 5 minutes ago - bragging of coarse about his Weekend fun, and the local car scene.

Here's his pictures of him at the Drift event they had over the weekend:

Pay special attention to the Yellow M3 and the GT2 porsche - some of you who have been around for a while might remember a certain video that had both these car in them that made quite an impression. - both of which my brother got to ride in over the weekend the little bitch!

here's a pictures of my brother and a few people. Can you guys tell me who they are or what is so significant about them? - hint see above comments

Yep the Gumball 3000 film cars - that's the porsche that was doing the top speed runs. And the 600hp Yellow M3 is the film car.

Steve you know you've drifted a corner or 2 in your day.

I haven't gotten into it much. Some of my asian friends in HS were obsessed with it. Around uni, all the ricers croud around a stock 240sx thinking that the car is a drift machine. I think it would be bad ass to smoke your tires around a turn but only due to power. I think it is gay because most people use an ebrake or something. Still fun on PS2 though.

Drifting is Gay if your only into 1/4 mile.

Drifting become fun/something you do when you get into Road Racing/SCCA/Rally . Hell even 1/4 mile, everytime an AWD Spins it's tire and your rear end moves to one side or the other. That's drifting. (even if it's only for a second)

I personally had a ton of Fun drifting in the snow/Rain this winter. And I all know some of you have been offroading at some point or another so stop being hipocrits!

the M3 is now 600hp.

I think that it CAN be fun but is gay. I dont call whipping shitties in the snow the same as drifting. When I picture drifting, I picture a drift event (something at a track) or some asshole fucking around in residential neighborhoods trying to get his car to slide.

Drifting is something real pavement racers only ever do to bail themselves out when they fuck up a corner. Drifting as a sport is lame.

Yea I agree with CVD. People in rally and roadracing only drift when they are going to fast and need to clear a corner or something.

Doing 360s in the snow is different than drifting to me becuase it is fun. Purposely beating on your car when your already flying down a track or whatever doesnt seem like fun to me unless it wasnt my car
