7 bolt built block, 6 bolt stock head?

i was just wondering if the block is built does the head also have to be? or can it be safe stock? the block is a 7 bolt and rebuilt board.020 over. Fully balanced Eagle H Beam Rods, JE Pistons, Port and Polished Head, ARP Head Studs, Aluminum Crank, and Aluminum Pulley

You can run a stock head on that block and be fine. It doesn't really matter. Now if you were to upgrade the cams, then you would have to probably get better springs so you could rev it higher into the power band. It looks like it is ported and polished head so that is a good start.

I would find a 7 bolt head though (93-94). I never tried putting a 6 bolt head on a 7 bolt block. should work?...

a 6 bolt head bolts up to a 7 bolt block

yes it will.... but use the 7bolt 2g head bolt washers...
