Ticking

Ok, so I just got the dsmlink, and was exploring things, and finally got the anti lag figured out, so I of course decided I would try it out a few times since it was sort of an accomplishment, and I wanted to hear that awesome popping noise before the car goes into storage/upgrade season for the winter... However, after doing the antilag at about 4500rpms one more time, I started to notice a small rattling/ticking noise that almost sounded like something came loose in the dash. I can't hear anything at idle, it's only once I get rolling... I checked out the other ticking threads and looked at possibilities of what the problem could be... Would the antilag cause timing to maybe skip a tooth??

Re: Ticking

I dont know about that antilag. I am guessing either skipped tooth or maybe a rocker came loose in the head. Pull the valve cover and check all of the rockers.
