Find the RMS wattage and resistance (ohms) of the sub, and find an amp that will do approximately that RMS voltage at that many ohms in one channel. Most likely you will end up purchasing a 2 channel amp and bridging the channels to make it a 1 channel amp.

basically find out if the sub is a 4 or 2 ohm single voice coil or 4 or 2 ohm Dual voice coil. that will determine what to get in an amp. after you find that out and how many subs you will be getting, look for an amp that is equal to greater then the combined RMS rating (NOT the peak power rating). you can also get really technical and determine whether to get a monoblock or two channel and bridge it. post up what your subs are and ill give ya some more advise on what to get.
When wiring the subs and the amp go to Ultimate electronics and pick up a wiring diagram that rockford fosgate puts out, just go up to the mobile counter and ask someone that works there for it, its free and they will prolly give ya a free bottle of water.
look at the diagram and it will tell ya how to wire your sub/subs to get to a certain OHM load. the lower the ohms the higher the amp is gonna put out, but be careful make sure the amp is stable enough to hold the ohm rating you are wiring it for.
wire it up and you are good to go.

okay so I looked on the sub to see if it had the info and it didn't so I looked n the internet for them and I found something that looks like them except mine are not chrome and the 1s I found were but I figure these numbers are better than nothing.

1 voice coil
4 ohms
450 watts peak

that is what it says I have one Jensen 10" XS
I may get the other sub he has but it isn't the same as the 1 above but tomorrow he will bring it to me to see.

woodbury is a long ass way but I think it would be worth it. I live in Minnetonka, okay maybe not that long but u know what I mean. I am lazy so that means long way. I want it but i have a limit supply of money and that might mean I may need to wait till I get a job which at that point I might ask someone to buy it for me and I will pay them back, lol, I love being poor. That would go great in my Neon, lol.
