Wire for FP rewire

I can't seem to find wire big enough, I was planning on buying a cheap stereo/amp kit, but even at walmart they are $40+ and I only need the positive wire out of it.

Anywho any other suggestions would be mostly appreciated.

Re: Wire for FP rewire

Have you tried a hardware store, Radio Shack, some other electronics store?

I recently bought a soldering iron from Ness Electronics - http://www.nesselectronics.com/
Call them up and tell them what gauge wire you're looking for and how much you need, they should be able to help you out.

Re: Wire for FP rewire

anywhere from 12 to 8 gauge will help, the larger the better, though 10ga seems to work fine for most people.

I use 8 gauge just because I have a ton of car audio wire

Go to any car audio store and you can buy it by the foot. Or even home depot has 10ga stranded stuff by the foot.

Re: Wire for FP rewire

Thanks for the suggestions and help. I had to run to hitech and went right by soundwaves so i stopped in and grabbed some wire and a fuse hold for cheap.

CJ has a nice eclipse up there too at least motor wise
