Im bored...heres my NEW project

So yeah I am terribly bored, and figured why not just throw up some pics of the new talon I have been working on. Bought it from Randy (viridionplague) a couple weeks back, and have done quite a bit of work on her so far. So heres the mod list and some pics.

MODS-
-Fmic (turbonetics core from buschur, custom 2.5" pipes, short route)
-3 inch gm maf with translator
-custom intake
-16g turbo
-evo 560's
-dual slim line fans
-2g big brakes (twin piston, slotted in the rear)
-2g shift nob (yeah that was a spendy mod)
-2g throttle body elbow
-swapped the red cloth out for my tan leather
-eprom ecu w/560cc injector chip in it.
-full 3 inch exhaust from turbo back, with meagan downpipe, test pipe, and n1 catback
-heavily ported o2 housing
-2g gst rims with some nice tires on them

Yeah so thats the gist of it, plan to just get her running prime, then to worry about ad-ons later on.

I regretfully say it's a evo III gt cheap one. It's a temp, I plan on doing something different, just need some cash. I'm thinking like a 3076 if I can get money.

On a side note, the car is running really rich, which has me stumped. I have the EPROM chipped with the 560 chip, and have my maft zero'd out for a base. It should be running fine, but it's not haha. I have an exhaust leak and maybe a little boost leak, so I need to do some fine tuning stuff.

I say just get a real evo 3 16g. that 3076 is worth more than this car lol

I'd say don't bother with a real Garret 3076.

Either get a cheapo PTE journal bearing SCM61, a real Evo3.

Or the unbeaten path of Holset or Borgwarner.

Yea its a spendy turbo, I'd like a nice 300+hp car someday, but right now it's just a start. Need to figure out my running rich issue.

Got it running really nice today, gonna fix my window motor, find a little boost leak I have, and give it a nice wash and wax. Some more nice pics coming up, along with I will update my other thread with the silver 1g, as that is now up and running.

Thats just what I did today! Haha, also found my boost leak (thanks to spaz for the boost leak tester, which I need to get back to you haha), so heres some pics of it cleaned up.







Also decided I want some fog lights on this b, gonna pick some up later this week.

So I thought I would do a small update with the car. The poopy ebay 16g was on the way out, ended up getting a s16g from jihan_dude, and it works awesome. A little bit different than the other 16g, but still a bunch of fun. Thing that sucks, is it needs a clutch, so that will be getting done pretty soon.
