Re: bov block off
Are you running a GM maf? Or are you still on the stock maf? If you're still stock then get the proper adapter or bov to recirculate it back into the intake.

Re: bov block off
Oh... The sport turbo comes with a flamidation valve. The block off is on there.

Re: bov block off
First off, deleting the recirc tube is pointless. The only "good" it does is make the purge louder, and that's only good if you're a ricer. It'll cause the car to run like crap and possibly even die when you shift, and it's almost impossible to completely tune that out.
If anything, the manifold is ported, nothing more. I highly doubt it has a different manifold for a 16G, which is a bolt-on turbo.
Spend your time finding a way to get that tube hooked up as opposed to finding a way to plug the intake hole.

Re: bov block off
Well, it sounds like the car was previously owned by a ricer. In that case, just put duct tape over the hole and call it good.

the only other way you could get it to function right without recirculating it is if you run a gm maf and a maf-translator. but it's a lot easier to just put the recirc hose back in

I suppose. But the reality is that the entire car is going to explode no matter what you do.
Personally, I'd replace that tranny, sell the car to cut your losses, then buy something off here that's been well taken care of.

All this coming from a guy who likes the rubber fist... I would listen to him 100%!

since it was previously owned by a ricer, shouldnt we give him advice to UN-rice his car? not just add to it..

Well, my suggestions have been better than yours. Because I'm pretty sure the flamidation valve came standard on his car, doesn't matter what turbo he's got.
And Jake, I was stating it's going to blow up on the basis that he got it in such a shitty condition.

See the hose there from the BOV to the intake tube? Do that.
