bleeding the 2g clutch system

I'm curious if there is any difference from a 1g to a 2g in bleeding the clutch system due to the "reservoir" tube(I don't know what it is called)? What is that for?

Re: bleeding the 2g clutch system

That page is a great write up. Unfortunately that is of no use because i know how to bleed hydraulic systems without "restrictors". I have read now that it might be recommended to remove this tube on the transmission and replace with a regular flex line?

Get rid of the reservoir and buy a $20 SS line to eliminate it, I've never been happier with my 2900.

With the 2100 it was fine, but I ran into problems with a heavier clutch.
