Cookout is close! Any major plans?
I know Kevin just painted his roof and tails, and it got me thinking...what's everyone else got in store for the cookout?
I personally have some bitchin samco radiator hoses that need to go in, a set of Mynes hood dampers, and hopefully an undertray. I really wanna order some springs and take best in show, but the evo is gonna remain on stock ride height until I can find a good deal on some new bilsteins to go with some nice springs.
*if* I get time, I'll be painting my tails....hopefully they turn out ok!
Any other bit bad-ass plans? I know some people like to keep secrets until the day-of, but I figure it's so close now, no one will see these setups until the cookout is upon us! So let's hear it!

Get my new trim piece and the front bumper repainted. Then just get it running somewhat decent for the dyno.

For the Galant;
50 trim is going in with 1200cc injectors, JMF intake mani, and E85 tune.

I sure would love to have my cams installed if FP ever gets off their ass and actually makes a few sets. I love 3-month backorders and I especially love companies that constantly lie about it.

Re: Cookout is close! Any major plans?
No major plans for me as I'm broke but maybe some tinted taillights and clean up the engine bay. Also gonna try and get my COP working and get my heatshield buffed.

Would definately like to have a look at you car
As for my Galant a ton. Gotta redo the wheels, stainless brake lines, radiator install, general cleanup of entire car, fuel pump, new powdercoated valve cover and heatshield, and if time allows fmic with custom piping. Yeah little crunched for time Might just make it look nice instead

sooo much body work left... bumper, grill, hood maybe too. all of my door panels are off right now, and the car needs a detail badly.

Put on new headlights, spruce up the engine bay, rub my cock on the car for a good time.

Re: Cookout is close! Any major plans?
Well now that the majority of the paint work is done on my car (still wanna paint the hood), it needs to be completely buffed. I spent a couple hours after work sanding and buffing the stuff I painted on Saturday, but I still have most of the car to do. I bought a buffer today so I'll be able to do the rest of the car at home. Other than that, I gotta clean up the interior alot. Being a daily driver makes it a little dirty sometimes

Re: Cookout is close! Any major plans?
1. Teach the wife on how to drive my m/t car so she can drive part of the way to MN. Getting old and restless.
2. Hope that the dsm survives the trip there and back and for a few more years.
3. Clean the car up. Haven't washed and wax the car for a good a good 3 to 4 months now. Going to try to get that black mirror finish off the car.
