FS: 1991 Talon TSi AWD - $4300

Alright, I can not afford to put any more money into this car (plus the father is hounding me to get something different) so I must sell it. I have put probably almost $2500-2700 into it since I bought it and that was back in May. Here are the details on the car:

1991 Eagle Talon TSi AWD
CLEAN title with title-in-hand
194,xxx miles listed on odometer
Approx 15,000-20,000 on the motor

MAP Performance Shortblock Rebuild Stage 1
•Hot Tank/Boil Block
•Polished Crank
•Balanced Rotating Assembly
•ACL Race Series Main and Rod Bearings
•Overbore with Torque Plate
•Fully Decked Block Surface
•Mahle Forged Pistons (8.5:1 CR)
•Eagle Connecting rods

-Balance Shaft Belt Removed
-HKS 272 Cams
-Small 16g Turbo currently running 9-10psi (wastegate pressure)
-2g Exhaust Manifold
-FMIC 24x8x2.5 with custom 2.5" piping
-Megan Recirculated O2 Housing
-Custom 2.5" downpipe to a catless 3" exhaust (no resonators) with a Hooker Muffler
-1g BOV Recirculated
-Evo 560cc Injectors
-SAFC2 and 2G MAS
-STM Catch Can with Kracka Vents
-Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator with 2 12" pusher fans (Has never overheated or gotten warm once since throwing this in)
-Dual Pillar Pod with Autometer Boost Gauge and ProSport Oil Psi gauge
-Sony CDX-MP80 CD Player
-2G 16" 5 Spoke Rims with like new Blizzak tires. Also includes an extra set of 1g 16" rims with summer tires, but would probably need replacing soon.
-Have a box of parts from previous owner that can go with the car, along with brand new KYB rear struts still in box.
-EVOScan Software+Cable to log the car with a laptop, very sweet setup

Some of the bad:
-No Headliner (have one, but it sags and needs to be redone)
-Driver-side window is finicky when rolling up, somewhat off track.
-Roof has bad paint cancer, clearcoat faded off and paint is dull. A rattle-can job could make it look nice again though.
-Some of the lower dash is peeling away from the metal, common I guess with the 1g's.
-Some spots of rust, about 3-4 places I can see.
-Slow oil leak around the oil return to oil pan
-Brakes would need to be done soon, might get this done before selling.

Just had a shop put in a brand new OEM clutch disc and resurface the flywheel. I did a headgasket job on it not too long ago with a Cometic MLS headgasket and had the head decked by a machine shop and used ARP Headstuds. Turbo is being fed from the oil filter housing with the Oil relocation kit from MAP. Car has always been fed Synthetic oil.

Car has A LOT of potential to be very fast, but I don't have the money to keep it, let alone if something ever goes wrong with it remotely soon I am screwed.

Asking $4000 for the car with everything listed above. I am already losing out so much at this price so I am going to be pretty firm with it.

May be interested in some trades, but must be 5-spd and body in decent shape with little to no rust.
-2g Eclipse/Talon Turbo AWD
-3000GT SL or VR4
-Subi WRX sedan

Here are some pictures:

Not sure, got it from a friend. If you have any questions like that, keep it to pm's.

Re: FS: 1991 Talon TSi AWD - $4300

Found a car that seems to be a good deal for a DD so I am willing to sell this car for $4100 without the snow tires/wheels.

Re: FS: 1991 Talon TSi AWD - $4300

Thanks guys, driving it tonight made me not want to sell it lol. I actually got it running decent tonight with the logger+safc2 tuning for the low throttle tuning. Waiting on a new knock sensor and boost controller so I can up the boost back up to 20psi and make it a little faster.

Bump, would be willing to trade for a nice STOCK 2g GSX/TSi AWD with lower miles and no crankwalk signs. If I were to get another DSM, I want it to be completely unmolested and taken care of so if anyone has one that would be willing to trade, let me know.

LOL yeah she gets around, but finally runs decent, albeit reading knock when boosting. Still trying to get that all figured out soon before I would sell to any unknowing buyer. Got some things I'm going to try out soon to fix that.

Re: FS: 1991 Talon TSi AWD - $4300

Updated Mods and price, $4000 with no extra set of rims with snow tires or $4300 for everything. Will get updated engine bay pic soon.

EDIT:
Willing to trade for a STOCK 2g GST/GSX with little to no rust on it and must be 5 spd, run well, and need nothing. Let me know if you have anything.

Re: FS: 1991 Talon TSi AWD - $4300

BUMP, going to fix a few small things tomorrow on it so I'll get some new pics up as well.

Cars I would be willing to work out a trade for:
STOCK 2g Eclipse GST/GSX
STOCK 2g Talon TSi/AWD
STOCK 3000GT SL or VR4 (yeah right )

Must have 5spd, at least 95% rust free, and run fine (AKA not need anything). Just want a car to get from point A to point B and look sweet Don't need to be fast anymore.
