Re: Just thought you should all feel my pain.
It took my buddies atleast ten minutes to finally believe me that I wasn't kidding. They thought I was joking around since that is something I could even see my self pulling.
But after ten minutes of me rolling on my back holding my leg in massive amounts of pain saying call an ambulance they decided to take me to the fairview ER. Which was a horrible idea.
Not only did I have to wait ten minutes before we left for the ER, the ride there was another 20 minutes with my buddies having the windows down smoking cigarettes. So at this point my leg is shaking because of shock and how cold it is inside the car. I didn't say anything or really care, I was just glad to be on the way to the ER.
When we got there I waited 2 1/2 hours in the waiting room before they evaluated me and gave me any pain medicine. The pain medicine they gave me was ONE single vicoden lol, didn't help at all. Then we waited another fourty five minutes to an hour and a half to get brought to the back where they gave me a single percocet.
After both of those pain pills did absoleutly nothing and a few x rays and few hours later they were suppose to give me morphine. I really don't think the nurse did, because she told me she was giving me saline, which is used to hydrate someone. I think she kept the morphine for her self, she was super rude and basically told me she didn't give a fuck about me because she is leaving right after this.
What makes me think she kept it, is because like two weeks after this happened I saw on the news that nurses had been giving patients saline instead of their morphine and keeping it for them selves. To be quite honest whatever she gave me didn't help pain wise and I could taiste it in my mouth.
All in all we were at that ER for about 7-9 hours, and the ER bill was like $1,500. Never been treated so rudely in my life my multiple people who worked there. Not to say that everyone who works there was rude, but over half of them were.
