Hey, I am new here.
Finally got around to joining these forums. I currently don't have a DSM but I will for sure be purchasing one by this summer.
So yeah, I hope to gain a lot of knowledge from these forums.

Welcome!
It is smart to do some research before the purchase.

It's my favorite song from the band Alice in Chains.
I'm not in a hurry to buy a car so I'll be here doing research and let the right car fall into my lap
I just need to pay off my truck and sell it so I can use that money as a down payment.

Re: Hey, I am new here.
Welcome... so what kind of dsm would you like to own? do you want to start with a highway racer, fwd turbo platform and build that up(GST)? or a drag car, all wheel drive turbo platform (GSX), or are you looking to be original and build everything custom from ground up, by starting off with a base model, RS, or GS, non turbo, fwd car and boosting it in the future? If you do buy a GST/GSX it would be nice to find one that already has the 6bolt 4g63 swap in it, as long as its installed correctly. because if you buy one with a 7bolt 4g63 in it, and you start modding, your gonna get some serious crank walk. and If you decide to buy one that is non turboed, make sure you buy a spare head gasket.... lol. good luck finding/buying a DSM, i hope it all works out for you!
oh yea, i almost forgot....

Re: Hey, I am new here.
Ya i got a 98 GSX and I bought it before knowing anything about these cars!!
Then as soon as I bought mine I found a 97 GSX with 6 bolt swap and a 50 trim, fmic, tokico suspension, rims, etc.. for the same price i bought mine for so I think you should deff. DO SOME RESEARCH!
And welcome!!
