Need Help with the bike

So after riding today for about an hour learing how to clutch up a Wheelie, my knees where killing me.
And I realized while trying to use the brake to control my wheelie (first time trying that also) that when I have to use the rear brake I really have to work to get my foot up to the lever. It's caused because my legs are so long that they are folded tightly. So I'm thinking that the rear of the Bike needs to be raised up. I'm hoping that will allow my legs/ankle to straighten out a bit.

Do I have the right Idea? and if so how is that going to effect the bike? Hoping those of you that ride might have experemented with suspension. Please give me your feed back.
