This is why the "prison abuse" doesnt even compare to what they do to hostages or what they used to do under sadam.

The prison ordeal is really bad and I think Bush needs to crack the wip and figure out what is going on over there since no one is telling him. It just makes us look bad.

What is the definition of a terrorist? Becuase in the prison incident Id say we were doing some "terrorizing."

Everyone already hates us over there and this only makes it worse... but I guess beheading makes it all better. :fworld:

How'd i know the prison issue would be brought up. That's exactly what's gunna happen from now on. We're gunna see pics of American's being treated like this, and someone is gunna be like "but american's terrorized Iraqis too". Or be like "They deserved the prison treatment". People are so narrow minded sometimes I think.

What the eight or some american guards did would be considered terrorizing. It is really too bad that a very very small fraction of a percentage of our military is causing a world wide ordeal.

I am very well aware of what Saddam, and his sons did over there. That's the only reason I am in support of this war. Saddam and his family were terrorists, easily, I think everyone agrees with that. I was simply saying that because someone else did something horrible, doesn't mean we should try to copy them.

What I was simply trying to say was, lets not act like terrorists, which we aren't. Let's not try to justify the abuse that the prisoners took either.

I tought i was done with subjects like this... but i do have to say few things....

I am sick and tired of ignorant people... Sick and tired of hicks and morons who are soo stuck in their little "hood" of 25 people they know and they jump to conclusions all the time.

Educate yourself before you say F this F that F him and kill them all...

I for one say, make australia same thing it was intended to be back when it was gettig populated, prison. Send all terorists there, send all extremists there, when i say all that includes all Islamic, Christian, budhist, catholic, hindu, jews... etc etc.. EVERY religion, EVERY culture has their extremists when it comes to anything.

and yes, two wrongs do not make it right, but lets say a revenge does make a person feel better but that revenge needs to be directed at the right person.

Do not bundle in whole americans in one pile since one of them ended farting and stinking up the world, do not think everybody there is that way.

it is sad that america is trying to be the worlds policeman, but the thing is they are the 'worlds' policeman when it is good for their pocket book, when its good for them. But when cities were getting cleansed of people from babies and pregnant mothers being cut open and baby killed in front of people all the way to 100 year old great grand parents and their dog too. Why didn't US do something then, what they did actualy is stoped those people from being able to defend themselvs by puting on arms embargo and confiscating weapons that would of been used for defense...
Why did US do that? because we didn't have oil to feed the deep pockets of greedy fucks who run this country.. who run this media and who decide where their pockets would get lined up the most from the benefits if "the police" would go and intervene.

Then again. i say those islamic radicals/extrimists should be put down, but do not call islam bad, people are bad, not religion. I am muslim, and i am proud to be a muslim, but it sickens me to see other ignorant people say bad things about my religion because my religion does NOT condone and does NOT approve of killing innocent people, it teaches forgiveness and respect. And those terrorists have not shown either!

I was really worked up about this topic earlier today after listening to the news all day on the radio at work, I will try to contain myself here. Some of you need to wake the fuck up and deal with the fact that we are at war and there is nothing we can do about it. The only thing that is diffrent here from other wars is that we now have a zillion reporters running around showing us the shitty side of things. You don't like what we are about, or are hung up on shit we have done in past conflicts there is plenty of real estate elsewhere.

How about this - Im in Iraq and you all need to just go get a big glass of SHUT THE FUCK UP. The guys in prison - THEY ARE THERE FOR A REASON. They are the worst of the worst. The second they get out, they will do whatever they can to KILL YOU. Yes YOU reading this. If they saw you ever walking down the street they would try and kill you. They are lower than the gaurds who "tortured" them.

The guards didnt torture, they just embarrsed them. Torture is cutting off fingers and gouging eyes and shit. The guards just mearly embarrsed them by putting them in sexual positions, its the best way to insult and degrade a muslim man.
Thats embarrasement, not torture.

And about the beheading "because of the abuse at prisons" BULLSHIT. They would have cut his head off anyway. These terrorists will do ANYTHING to try and defeat us. They know they can't do it through military might, but they can win the public war back home. By making everyone bitch and moan like everyone is now.

Just like the 4 guys who were burned alive, then drug through the streets and then mutilated then hung off a bridge. I had to go out with C company 1/87th to go retrieve the bodies off the bridge. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR.

Interigation should be done behind the closed door, not by releasing pictures to the world. I'm sure there are a lot worse things that US has done while "breaking down" the person but that never makes it to public eyes. It still doesn't make it justified.

I'd like to think i know what StarStageII is going thru, but neither he or i will understand what each one of us went thru during my time in Bosnia and his time in Iraq, he is not in his country defending his soil, and unfortunately Bosnia didn't have Oil US would like, so there was no harsh "police fist" to help innocent people that they are using in Iraq right now... Except they put on an arms embargo so that the war gets over quicker since one side won't be able to fight back and get exterminated sooner.... and i bet it was an easy decisions the side that was getting exterminated was Muslims, woo hoo less muslims in the world, why don't we cut off their arms so they can't fight back...
