Arrow Yeng's Stealth RT/turbo Project

I picked up a 1991 Stealth RT/TT a week or so back as a project. No rust, just minor wear and tear, bumps and bruises for being a 1991. It was all stock, with some dinky stickers. Body has 125k miles, has a blown transmission, but engine was replaced with a newer one and runs great.
Since Seng and I were busy with the 2.4L Spyder GSX project.
I decided to post up the Stealth for sale. After some talk, looks like my other younger brother (Yeng) wants to take it on now.
So I told him, I'll work with it.
Here is some pictures of how it is at the moment.
I'm in progress of taking out the blown transmission and locating for a new one.
I only have a couple of weeks left before I go on vacation to Laos, but I'll see what progress I can make with the time left.
Afterwards, I'll be doing a tune up, cleaning and bodywork.
Mods that I have lined up from past cars are BOV, 3" exhaust system with dual mufflers, 450cc or 550cc injectors, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, FAL fan, ACT Clutch, FMIC, S-AFC2.
I'm going to replace the aged leather seats for a pair of red racing seats when I come back.
I'll update pictures of progress here and there.

I'll be looking for 3S parts, so if you have any, feel free to drop me a line.

Thanks.

Nice project, but that interior looks terrible.

I would rock that interior if it was in better shape.

Looks like a good project. Have fun.

Re: Yeng's Stealth RT/turbo Project

It's actually decent. The front center console and arm rest was taken apart, so it looks messed up right now. Should be back to normal once I put it back together.
The interior needs a good cleaning, but nothing a good detail job can't handle.
Otherwise the seats will be replaced with red racing seats. So no more cracked and ripped leather.
Floor mats will be replaced also.

That's rad because it's black. I like it.

Re: Yeng's Stealth RT/turbo Project

IMO, the red carpet is just too much. If it was mine, I'd keep the red trin in the doors, make the carpet black, and go with red/black racing seats.

I'm going to keep the carpet the way it is. The only thing that will be replaced is the floor mats.
I don't want to do too much interior work. Not my thing.
