With the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre coming out this past Friday I thought some of you may be interested in seeing the true story behind the movies...... Looky Here Or Looky Here
Did anyone go see the remake or seen it before?

The second link you posted was very interesting and creepy at the same time. I would like to see that movie when it comes out since it is directly about Ed Gein (vs. other movies like Psycho, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Silence of the Lambs that were inspiried by him).

I never saw the original and I think seeing this new version may just ruin it for me. So I am gonna wait till I see the original. The only referance to it that I have ever seen was during the 80s movie Summer School with those 2 sick guys trying to alwasy gross out the class.

I saw the original as well and yea it was wierd and creepy, but at the same time it was almost too stupid and funny to be scary. I never realized till just recently that it was based around a true story, that would have made it worse to watch. I think the new one looks much more intense.

back in the saddle again

just got done watching the new one.
very sick, very twisted, felt like puking after remembering it was based on a true story.
Old one is tame compared to the new one.

I went and saw the brand new one. And I'll say this, It's been a very long time since I got freaked out by a movie. This was the one to do it. The most fucked up part is that it's supposed to be true. I think that's what really did it for me.

Ok, so I haven't seen the first one, and I just got back from the second... that was the most disturbingly gross movie I have ever seen!! I don't jump a lot at movies and I jumped about 200 times... If you want to freak out this movie is worth it. Just don't buy popcorn when you go see .

the new texas chainsaw movie = :gayflag: seriously, it was so goddamn predictable, you knew every move the characters were going to make before they even did. it was the same old horror movie script template with some new faces.
if you like remakes, i don't think anything has even come close to The Ring since its release. i haven't seen the original of that yet though, Ringu

The Ring was a freaky movie... Definitely a good thriller flick.
