Gauge Repair?

Is there anyone that has done any diving into any Autometer gauges and knows how to fix anything wrong with them? I have an EGT & Oil Pressure gauge that both have their own problem.

My EGT gauge stopped working out of the blue and will not calibrate itself but will still light up. It is frozen at 500 degrees. I have hooked another gauge to quickly test the wiring to see if things were all good and that is a yes.

My oil pressure gauge does not like to work at all when it is cold. I have to unplug it from the harness and plug it back in to make it work. The back lighting on it never works. It flashes quickly when turning my lights on and thats it. It also make the 4 remaining gauges light up very dimly when all lights are off.

If I have a chance to save them so I do not have to buy different ones that would be great.

Re: Gauge Repair?

Give Autometer a call. I know 2 people who have called them about their boost gauges being slightly off and Autometer sent them a free replacement gauge. Worth a try.

Anyone got a number off hand? The website didn't help much.
