Lightbulb Need a Ride Please.

So i have a B16G on my car and i love it, so far when i am running against people the quick spool up on this thing is killing them.
Well i was thinking that i would like something a touch laggier (sp?) and a bit more power. I was thinking 50 trim, actually BB 50 trim to be exact.
I was wondering if anyone had a 50 trim on their car and wouldn't mind giving me a ride because i would like to see which one i like better.
Thx
Aaron

Re: Need a Ride Please.

With 8.8:1 compression I would hit full boost at 3600 with a 50 trim. I loved it on the 2.0. Not very laggy, but good power all the way to redline.

Re: Need a Ride Please.

He just took mine for a spin. I don't hit full boost until maybe 4100 on mine. That's on stock 1g compression ratio(just tested at 150psi on all 4 cylinders), and it seemed to have gotten a little more laggy now since I have a huge exhaust leak where the O2 and Downpipe meet (only held on by 1 bolt right now). But sounds like darky is going to be buying a 50 trim!

Not to steal the post or anything. You going to be selling that 16g? And sounds like he is having fun with it too. hmmm

Re: Need a Ride Please.

hell yeah i loved it!!! So now the question be, who has a 50 trim for sale? j/k
Brandon is running about 20psi and i am only at about 15 psi, its kinda scary to see that gauge get to 15psi or so then fly right up. I really need my FMIC on there.
I will more than likely make my decision once my boost is turned up and i can drive a car that is close to my car setup wise.

Re: Need a Ride Please.

Yeah I had a BR 20G on my stock 2.0L and it wasn't laggy at all. So yeah just get a 50 already.
