HWY pot holes

Right now i'm a bit upset about this stupid state, so bear with me.

Coming in to work this morning, hwy 94 southbound towards down town, i'm in the far left lane and there was a car coming up so i switch to the second lane. On a slight decline hill i don't notice anything and all of the sudden BAM BAM ... A FUKEN POT HOLE HUGE...

you don't see the damn thing until you are on top of it because of the decline. now i have both front tires that have bulges in them, and are noisy as hell now, threw a belt. I checked and i didn't see any bends on the rim outside, but that doesn't mean they aren't bent inside.

Has anyone ever complained or gone throu with complaining to the state about something like this, I know it can be done for local roads especialy if there is construction in the area they would just tack the bill to the construction budget. But what about something like this where there is no construction.

i'm soo pissed for going slower and moving into the next lane to let a freaken car pass, next time i'll just go faster and not move out of anyones way...

Re: HWY pot holes

I have read stories about people going through the process on various forums, some people get the city to pay for it, no problem, som have to fight a lot, but still get it, and some just get told to fuck off.

It's worth a shot, just make sure you take some pics of the pothole, and all that kind of stuff so they don't just fill it and say that there was never a pothole there.

I hope this wasnt the Eclipse? I would give it a try with the state though and IMMEDIATELY stop driving on those tires. I have had a tire with a bulge blow up right next to me and it is scary as hell.

Buy a couple of tires and have them check the wheels when they balance them.

Re: HWY pot holes

This happened to me a a couple friends in Aberdeen, S.D. We were driving on this back highway, and prolly going a bit to fast and we come up this hill and there was abuot 1/5 mile of just pure potholes and some i swear were a foot deep. Hitting hig ass potholes doing 80 isnt the most fun thing in the world, and the rims are bend to shit.
