Exauhst porting question, again.

Exauhst on 14b turbo was installed as a "Turbo Back" install a few months back and i never stuck my head under to take a look. Febo(owner of the car now off in boot) said they re-used part of the downpipe and welded it together. So, i figured Oxygen sensor - 3-4 inches of DP then new exauhst....

So after looking they used everything up to the flex section of the downpipe.

Will porting this out help at all performance wise? Or should i do just enough to prevent creep and save the true porting for a better set up? I'll have to drop the whole exauhst off since it's one solid piece, and only have 2 stands ATM. So it may be a few days(weeks) before i pick up another set. Nothing like getting the radiator off, starting on the exauhst to find out.... it's FUBAR.

What are you looking at porting? I am guessing the turbo. I would just port for boost creep and call it good for now. You can gasket match if you feel ambitious.

If you feel VERY ambitious. Its hard to take that much material and keep it even. I perfer to port aluminum shit, way easier.
