Re: Google "Click Fraud"
That for the advertisers. The basis of the case is that lots of websites are based to soley generate income based on the amount of clicks one site generated by it's users. Well when "bots" got involved by those smart enough to write them these sites would end up drawing thousands per week in income from Google Adsence program. In our case we ended up getting 2 payments for the service. ONe small prorated amount and 1 for right around $100.00 which was also our biggest traffic month from search engines. We where removed cause I made the mistake of clicking an ad from home. Not thinking about it at the time there policy was to remove anyone clicking from the same IP that set up the account. It was fair onece they explained what happen and I was not help liable for any wrong doing cause it was isolated to a few single clicks over a weeks time that they eventually caught. Added up to about 45 cents in income removed from payout, final check cut, and dsmstyle.com removed from the program. Every dime that google pays out gets paid by advertisers for those specific ads based on volume. So some small ma and pa flower shop could be charged thousands in a month for example when in reality only 2 or 3 clicks per 400 clicks to the site where actual visitors.
