Need an in-home visit.

Between my brother and I we have:
1991 GVR4
1989 Camry (all-trac v6 5sp....jk)

So anyways, we were playing the "we dont need to replace the raditor quite yet, we can just top it off ever other day or so" game and we lost.

Time for new head gasket: down time Friday-Monday

My galant must have heard us talking about this, becuase on saturday it decieded that its exhaust system was too heavy to carry anymore

Im gonna have JET do my exhaust, but he is too busy to do it NOW!

so we finished putting the damry back together today and it turns on, and then dies after 1 second of running.

if you give it gas, it dies faster

im pretty sure that I did the timing right, and the whole ignition system is replaced.

if you can come to my place in fridley and fix it for me, I will pay you for your time, its better then having someone tow it to a shop for $100 and then going from there.

its probably something simple, and we didnt have any "extra parts" after finishing this car

I really need this done quickly, so if someone is not busy tonight, ill drive you here, buy you food, whatever.

Re: Need an in-home visit.

Just to make sure you MAS is plugged in for starters, then check to make sure you plugged in the PCV valve, on the back left of the valve cover there is a nipple that the hose goes over. Usually with that hose off it will start and run, but will idle like shit and die often.

I don't have time to come up and check. I wouldn't think it would be a timing issue. Do you know how to check it with the cover on everything on?
