anyone know stations carrying 92+ non-oxygenated gas? there's a BP off 494 and bass lake road that carries it, if i'm up there that's the ticket, otherwise i just get regular amoco 92. any other stations around that carry non-ox or 93/94 that isn't loaded with holiday's detergents and ethanol?

There's one in Mounds View offa 35W and county 10 just north of 694. Otherwise, there's one on Dale and Como Ave in Saint Paul.

There is also one off of Dale and County Rd. B in Roseville. I believe its 92 and I know it is non-oxy.

yes, but as i mentioned and as holiday mentions, it's high in ethanol and detergents - ethanol is something like 9:1 a/f, versus gas 14.7:1, so you need to run more fuel. also, holiday goes through tons and tons of gas and the consistancy of quality doesn't seem to be there. i used to use it all the time until a few times i was having wierd issues that i could only trace back to a bad tank of gas.

enes; oxygenated gas is gas with ethanol. ethanol is good for emmissions and has some advantage in the winter (stations up the ethanol % in the winter), but increases the amount of fuel you need, thus lowering gas mileage, effectively lowering octane.

as far as i've found, and what i was asking here, is that amoco's non-oxy 92 is the best pump gas in the state, but i'd love to find out i'm wrong

I actually used to know of a gas station with Amoco 94 non-oxy, but they don't have it anymore. Just throw in a dash of toluene at each fill up.

toluene is 114 octane, so figure out the octane you want and go from there. Don't add more than 30% toluene. Sherwin Williams has it, but call around. It is used as paint thinner.

be carefull? why..

i don't understand why would you have to be carefull if that is what you are NOT using it for..

You should be able to buy as much as you want of this stuff becaue you are not using it to make the drugs...

unless you have something to hide and don't want to bring more attention to yourself.
