Talon's first photo shoot

http://www.flickr.com/photos/2984354...7608213911900/

Now, before someone else points it out, I realize the car is dirty. I realize there're cone marks on the bumper.

I daily drive this car, I'm proud of that, and it's part of what makes this car mine, which is why those "blemishes" stayed.

Next shoot, however, will be done after a wash.

Looks good. Those rims must of came stock on our cars for awhile if I'm not mistaken. They came with my car and I've seen them on other 2g's before already too!

Yeah, sadly enough, that's how common these rims are on these cars. Never came stock, either from factory or dealer option. They do look good, though, not gonna lie, so there's a damn good reason for it.

Next season, these rims are going to be retired to the daily beat, and I'll be picking up a set of 17s (likely Evo 17s) for show/autox.

Nope. If anything, a 2gb Talon front. I've never quite understood the idea behind turning a less common car into a more common car, in part or wholly.

There are black scuffs on your front bumper. Your wheels are sexy.

Re: Talon's first photo shoot

97-98 Talon is the best DSM front bumper ever. I personally think the 97-98 Talon is the best looking DSM overall, and even sexier with the 95-96 sideskirts on it.

+1.

That with the thumbnail wing. The sickle just looks weird, especially with the 3rd brake light on the post.

Re: Talon's first photo shoot

I've always like the 97-99 eclipse Front Bumper / rear End with the 95-96 Sideskirts and the 97-98 talon rear spoiler.

But car looks good. Feels like everyone has had those rims, b/c i've seen them on basically every car lol
