Looks like about 10 minutes of fun. Get a goped or something that won't kill your tailbone. That thing looks as if it would be a little snappy and set you back on your ass pretty quick.

Re: should I buy this?
it's got a cyntripical (sp) clutch so it's not gunna launch me off of it or anything. I was planning on getting a go-ped for school just to zip around if I need, but when I saw this it reminded me how much I miss snowboarding when I'm at school. Fargo doesn't have many hills haha

Re: should I buy this?
How do you stop the skateboard, jump off? The thing looks like a death trap to me!
Do your friends have to push you around in the snow on your board in fargo since there arent any hills? Oh I'm sorry, there is a small field in alexandria they call a ski hill, hahahah. There are some huge runs at this place, I might be scared to hit those black diamonds they are so steep, look out for the wall run http://www.andestowerhills.com/trail-map.html

That red cord you hold has the throttle, brake, and kill all in your hand. I'm not worried about getting hurt on it. Hell I rode my mini pocket rockets around at 30mph for a while and those things got a little scary at times haha.
Naw I haven't found anybody willing to push/pull me around on my snowboard yet. I usually go down to a place in doublas county but thats over an hour away and it's really not that great.

Re: should I buy this?
if you had to brake quickly, you'd be flying off unless you really leaned on your back foot. Are those little bars to lock your feet in? Seems like a good way to trap you so you can't catch yourself when falling.
I'd stay away.

Re: should I buy this?
man you guys are all concerned about getting hurt. I'm only 20, I can handle a few bumps if I fall haha. Yea the bars are what your feet slide under, but they are nothing more than mild support. I doubt they'd keep you from falling off. I guess I look at this like a snowboard and it makes me super excited.

Re: should I buy this?
I'd rather have a Go-Ped. If you're looking for cheap transportation just buy a brand new China moped/scooter for under $1000. That way at least you'd be able to take decent trips and it would be legal for use on the streets.

Those things are a little dorky for me. haha I would just use this to cruise around to the store or my friends' places or possibly class. Hell I drove my pocket rockets to class a few times and it just gave me something to do whenever we were bored. You are probably right though, a scooter would probably be more efficient. I'd either get this thing or a go ped and a go ped would run me about $150 vs $200 for this.

that would be kinda fun though.... and it would keep ya shredding until you hit up andes... which is not to bad if your in the park or racing fyi bertrenolds5. Its biggest run is actually somewhat close to buck hill's biggest, and a little steeper for racing on.

Re: should I buy this?
If you need someone who is trained in first aid to scrape you off the pavement when you get your skateboard, give me a call.

ok, so its small, but compared to things like powder ridge and hyland ski snowboard area its big. I dont go there much anymore since I usually make 2 trips out west if I can afford it... i at least go every christmas/new years with my family out to keystone/a-basin/vail and thats a bit better
but I'd say get a gas powered stand up scooter, throw a 50cc dirtbike engine on it, and make it so you can hand shift and go 40-50!!! haha

Re: should I buy this?
A friend of mine had one like that... Didnt put the bars that hold your feet in and we ripped off the POS motor that it came with and put a Briggs and Straton 5 horse on it. Thing is a death trap. I'd rather have one that you can steer with your hands not just by leaning.
If you've ever tried snowboarding, you would realize that at some point in this venture you will fall. Now try it on pavement going 20mph! HAHA
I'll see if I can find some pictures of the one we made.
Brian for 5-600 you can get a pit bike, either that or get the motorized scooter you were looking at the other day for $150.

Re: should I buy this?
^pitbike would be a no thanks, I had a couple pocket rockest and I'd much rather have something to stand up on. I may just go with a go-ped now that I think about how I'd lock this thing up.

Re: should I buy this?
Sorry, hip-talk for Fifty cc pitbike. Get a gas powered one. Then go with a 88cc big bore kit and remove the limiter, never ending fun, offroad, onroad, with chick, without chick, get chick, burn outs, wheelies, flips...it go's on.
You can only do what on that board, a turn? But you seem to be a board guy, so it could be good off-season training/exercise!
