Prosport boost gauge installed! Edited: Switch to change color

Just finished up installing my prosport mechanical boost gauge. It looks really nice, and the install was relatively trouble free, minus they didn't provide enough vacuum hose! I followed some wiring help from this post on evom:

http://forums.evolutionm.net/showpos...7&postcount=12

Will post up better pics after i get some daylight shots.

Edit:

Here is my solution for not being bright enough for day light!

This switch changes the gauge from orange to white!

I kind of want to go to a set of these now. They're growing on me more and more.

Looks really good. I was just thinking back; when I was in high school, you simply couldn't find a boost gauge that would match stock mitsu gauges. Now you have piles of choices!

How well does it light up in the day? Can you see it perfectly good when it is really sunny?

Re: Prosport boost gauge installed!

so after driving around today its a little hard to see during the day. It catches alot of reflection becuase it is so shinny... kinda reminds me of a plasma tv with light behind it. I have it wired to be amber all of them time and have thought about maybe wiring in a switch so that i can light it up white.

Re: Prosport boost gauge installed!

Couldn't you wire it up so that it's white normally, and then turns to amber when you have your lights on automatically? That's what I was hoping to do with mine.

Re: Prosport boost gauge installed!

yeah you can do that, you just splice the wire that i put a switch on into the parking lights. But I usually have my lights on and wanted full control of it.
