Smaller A/C Condensor options

Well with my never ending battle of running hot, I was trying to consider another option. I absolutely do not want to get rid of the A/C on my car. The big condensor is a little bit restrictive though as it's located right in front of the radiator. So what I was thinking was, that since I don't use the A/C that much, what if I got a smaller condensor. Maybe something smaller but thicker. Or even if it's just smaller all aroun. It may not perform quite as well as the stock one, but that's ok since I don't use it that much. Just perform well enough to still blow some cool air, even if it isn't quite as cool as it was before.

Anyway, so I've been digging around to try and find something, but no one really makes aftermarket a/c condensors. So my question is, what if I used some sort of tranny or oil cooler? Is there any issues with this? I'm not sure if it has to be made of a specific metal that doesn't react with refridgerant, or has to hold a certain psi. Just wondering if anyone happens to know anything about this. I'd have to empty the hole system obviouslly, and have to do whatever is neccessary to make up some lines that will mate to the stock lines at some point. But any input is appreciated!

Looking at something maybe like this. Or maybe 2 of some smaller ones or something, I don't know. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HI-Pe...QQcmdZViewItem

Also, I see some other oil coolers on ebay that aren't the normal looking style. They look like billet pieces that is just a round tube with some fins coming off it. Are those any good? They don't look like they'd e nearly as good as the typical radiator style looking ones.
