I am selling my talon that I have been building for the past 5 years. I have over $16,000 invested in the car and have come to a point that I just need to get rid of it. The car is black with gray interior and has 107,000 miles on the body. The motor only has a couple thousand along with the turbo. I had the motor rebuilt with eagle rods, 2g 8.5:1 pistons, removed the balance shafts, arp studs, 1mm oversized stainless nitrided valves, port and polish, 3 angle valve job, titanium springs and retainers, 3 layer metal head gasket, agp gt30 full garret turbo kit, tial 38mm wastgate with external dump, front mount intercooler w/hks bov, 780cc injectors, warlboro 255 fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, 2g mas, afcII, 2.5" downpipe, 3" exhaust, boost,egt gauges. The clutch is an act 2600 with the street disk and the flywheel is an act xact. That's all I can remeber for now but I'm probably forgetting something.
The car has been lowered with eibach springs. Brakes are powerslot with hawk pads.
Now for the bad. The car runs but smokes. Smoke is coming out of the breather and oil is coming through one spark plug, the rest of the cylinders are fine. I expect it to be a bad ring. The transmission has the normal bad synchros in 2nd gear since I never got around to rebuilding it. The car was very fast when I was still driving it and can be again for someone else.
This would be a great car for someone who wants to build a dsm but doesn't want to spend nearly as much as I did on one. I am going to let this go cheap. I really just need to get rid of it.
