Definatly not as cool as the blew the motor thread, but this is actualy MY car so...

no, I think it broke out, and the retaining pin sheared off... cause the pin was still though the shaft when I found the piece laying on the driveway...

Well I broke it screwing around in a Icy and dry tar parking lot... then let it sit for about a month, drain all the oil out... and then decided to drive it around the neighborhood when it was snowy out, and the front diff locked up and I tryed to force it up the driveway and at the bottom it went clunk boom crunch, and it died like instantly... oops...

well when trannys keep breaking it gets oily under there... besides oil=not likely to rust... at least the parts that are all oily... and when you got a chassis with 276k on it, you really dont care...
