Glued to toilet, man sues Home Depot
http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/11/03/to....ap/index.html
"Paramedics unbolted the toilet seat."
"Dougherty, "frightened and humiliated," passed out as he was being wheeled out of the store, court papers said"
"The lawsuit said the toilet seat separated from his skin, leaving abrasions."
"This is not Home Depot's fault," Dougherty said. "But I am blaming them for letting me hang in there and just ignoring me."
That had to just suck!

Re: Glued to toilet, man sues Home Depot
That sure would be embarrassing. It is funny that it happened to someone else though

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.

He'll be paid and shutup before the lawsuit sticks, home depot is just one of those companies.

Re: Glued to toilet, man sues Home Depot
I wish i had that kind of luck. Then i wouldn't have to work on my own DSM i could just pay to have someone else do it.
What a luxury that would be!!!

"It's not about the money. I want my health back. I want to be back to normal," Dougherty said. "I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anybody ever, ever again."
Yet the lawsuit is for $3mil.... how can it not be about the money?

Re: Glued to toilet, man sues Home Depot
You would have to be REALLY inept to sit on a toilet seat covered in glue and not notice, and be sitting for long enough for the glue to set.
This guy is a fucking loser.

Re: Glued to toilet, man sues Home Depot
No crap. I bet the prick put the glue on himself! How could you not notice it as soon as you sat down? How could it sit there for an amount of time and not be dry already? I hope he doesn't get a fucking penny!!

Re: Glued to toilet, man sues Home Depot
the only thing that would set that fast is super glue, and that would have to be applyed right before he sat down, or itd set before he got in there... heh, he did however find a way to get easy money....
