Ebay idiot I need help

Ok I just won a bid on an I/O camera mount for my cage. and so I paid it, I then logged off and checked some other sites when I came back to ebay it said I needed to pay for it still. (thinking it didn't take) I resent the money, now on my account overview it shows that I paid for it twice.

Now what the hell do I do? I emailed the seller telling him what's going on. But am I supposed to file something with ebay or what ever?

Did you use Paypal? Just make sure to file a complaint with ebay and/or paypal AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Any complaints more than 30 days after the incident aren't valid.

I used paypal. I was reading up on there resolution center and it had a comment saying weren't able to resolve with buyer. Should I wait a day to see if he reply's to my e-mail and refunds the money.

You can refuse payment right?

If he doesn't send it back to you, then send a complaint. Most people will work with you though. It happened to me once. The guy was a little torqued at me because he had to pay the fees to return it to me, but he understood and warned me against doing it again. But he did return it to me.

He should send it back it he has a good rating and wants future business, otherwise if he doesnt then take up some action with Paypal or contact ebay.

Hi Brian- I pay for stuff on ebay all the time, it usually says that i need to pay for it even though i already did. Don't worry about that. I think its a flaw in the communication between PayPal and Ebay for one to let the other know that you paid. Kinda dumb because I think ebay owns PayPal now.

I assume that you already contacted the seller. Have they emailed you back at all yet? If it's been 24 hours since you first tried contacting them, I would file something on ebay AND paypal. This is gonna be similar to what that guy that bought your Magnus had to do when he sent the money to the wrong account. You should get your money back just fine. Just be sure to contact ebay and PayPal.

He refunded the 2nd payment the next day. Speaking of which can I paypal you money for the work you are doing on my Valve Cover? I need some practice hehehe.
