New guy here
I'm new to DSM's, but not new to cars or forced induction. Although I must say that I am new to turbo's, I've got a couple supercharged T-birds laying around. A friend of mine told me about this board so I though I would take a look. I'm looking to pick up something here in a month or so, and in the meantime I'm just checking out boards and soaking up as much info as I can.

Re: New guy here
Right now my daily driver is a crown vic. I have one t-bird thats got blown HG's and my other one is on the verge for the 2nd time. Sold the 3rd one I had last fall after blowing those and having the crack pulley come off at 80, and then coming back up into the engine bay to wreck havok. I seem to be the master of destroying HG's on SC's.

Re: New guy here
Hey Welcome to the site! My friend has a Turbo T-bird.. It's kind of slow but it's kind of cool. But it's becoming a POS now because she doesn't take care of it.

Re: New guy here
I just want to work on an engine where I can actually see the gap between teh heads and the wheel wells. And I figured why do something simple like a mustang. That and a buddy of mine has a pretty damn fast GSX, so here I am.

Seems like a common problem on SCs, my roommate had one and got rid of it because of all of the problems. I think SCs are the closest thing to a modded DSM as far as problems go, DSMs are just a little easier to work on.
