BOV no sound at all

Before I put my stock DP on, I could faintly hear my BOV ( over the loud exhaust). Now I cant hear it at all. Any ideas? Am I supposed to be able to hear it at all? Its vented in as stock.

Mine sound like a little hiss at the most and thats if its at a certain boost. Or you can try to check the vaccum hose thats connected to the bov, it might be off. I had that problem a couple of times and it wasnt opening enough to let the air out and therefore no noise.

Re: BOV no sound at all

Wouldn't the vac. hose being off caust a problem? I tightened everything up last night. I noticed some liquidation around the seal for the BOV. Weird?

Re: BOV no sound at all

If your exhaust was loud it was probably your turbo you were hearing, not your BOV.

Re: BOV no sound at all

If hte vacuum hose on the top of the turbo falls off, it can feel like fuel cut. I had this problem many times because the BOV line kept falling off

Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.
