Made it from FL to MN in a DSM.

So I will update with some photos and good stories as time goes on, but I just was pretty proud as me and a friend drove from Tampa to Louisville in 14 hours and then from there home in 16. We lost power steering and that was all. It was a Spyder non turbo 1999 automatic. It was fun but also depressing going from 85 and sunny with the top down, to nearly dying for two hours in WI. Either way, it will be a fun project and I look forward to keep everybody posted.

Nice. That is what my Spyder was when I bought it in 99.

Re: Made it from FL to MN in a DSM.

Well power was lame but torque was nice but yes 4g64 and it was rust free with a TAN interior which in the summer is key. Back story: This was originally and still is to an extent, a surprise to my mother from my brother, dad, and myself for their 25th wedding anniversary. It will be getting an OEM paint job with a completely redone interior as well. Transmission is already rebuilt and solid. Top is new as well. It was not exactly a quick machine, but it dominated many vehicles in the snow in Wisconsin!

New tires, wires, plugs, etc. gonna need looootttsss of cosmetic attention inside though. Nice Infiniti wheels though.
