Rock Falls Raceway 7-22-2012

Went to Rock Falls this past Sunday (yesterday) and got some good shots and some good runs. My brother has been building his Civic since earlier this year and we finally had the time to go because I think the last Sport Compact even was cancelled. We were expecting mid to high 14s and got a 13.901!! we were both pretty stoked as were our friends that came with us.
We were getting mid 14s all day until a friend loaned us M/T Slicks. We were running on the BFG Drag Radials. Huge difference IMO. Haven't driven fwd cars at the track before but it's pretty fun, especially when I haven't done it in a while. Well, here are the pictures. Enjoy.

This Supra was having traction issues but once he hooked, IT hooked. I wanna say it trapped a 135mph with a low 11 second pass. Quite entertaining.

This Civic had a built K20 turbo. My brother said it was pushing 700. I don't know, don't quote me on that one but it spun all the way till the finish line and trapped a 140 which is definitely in the low 10s once it gets traction.

I think I know the guy in that supra, 6765 car, tries to play it off like its not shit but obviously it moves good.

That civic I guess made that 700 on a single pump and now it has duel pumps. Pretty damn quick cars.
