New car shopping
Well I just got the kia paid off and I've been looking at talons again. There was a car that I was really interested in that was taken off. It's back up again and with more pictures. This car has been screaming at me, it looks immaculate but I'm not sure about the 166k thats on it. Just lookin for a second opinion. Thanks. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ra...059168342.html

Re: New car shopping
That's a bit much for a stock car. Immaculate is torn driver's seat?

Easily fixed, and it wasn't done the right way.
Agree with turbotalon1g, it doesn't look immaculate. What is with the front bumper, or is that just a leaf on it or something?

Re: New car shopping
immaculate compared to my old car which looked something like this. haha I didn't notice that tear right away there... "leather" seats in mitsu cars are shit anyway.

Re: New car shopping
I've got my eyes open though. The Kia is going to be gone in another month, I want to spend about 3500. I would like something stock that I can do my own mods.

Re: New car shopping
You ask for our opinion then get defensive?
Good luck, just remember to use quality parts so there is good stuff on the part out. But some evo 9 seats. Nick's 2G is nice, i'm hoping another person on here gets it.

Re: New car shopping
I was just saying its pretty clean, no rust wise, but if 3500 seems too high as said i can probably just look around more. I've noticed alot of talons on craigslist are also on here.

Nicer? Depends on your definition of nicer. More luxury? Yeah, sure you can get a car with more luxury items for 40k. But apples to apples on a new car? No, for the money the only other car that compares in speed, handling and features is an STI.

We should start a pool of money and take bets on how many of Trogdors 205 posts involve him trying to sling mitsu's to members on here. I vote 175.

it's my buddys car and its craigslist . If he posted what he really wanted for it he would get low balled everyday and have people offering him 1000.If you talk to him about it i'm sure he'll lower the price for a style member

Re: New car shopping
+1 for being on craiglist. I have people email and text daily asking if id take $2k,$1.5k ect. All lowball offers excpecially since 99% of those craigslist fuckers dont even show up after wasting time texting back and forth. Just plain stupid. my asking price is my asking price unless you show up and show me otherwise then Im open to negotiating.
Not directed towards person started the thread just saying that craigslist has turned into a joke
I vote 176 if were playing price is right rules

Maybe. The new infinity G37X starts at $38 also, comes with more base HP more MPG and lot more comfort. But it's a diff. market.
Of course we all know it easier to get power out of an X!
My vote is 180.
