• Tire Restrictions: Slicks up to 26”
Quick (QK)

• No tube chassis vehicles, ¾ chassis are acceptable.
#####
The following classes are designed for factory turbocharged vehicles, but NA and factory supercharged vehicles are certainly welcome. Exotics and other unique platforms may be asked to compete in another class at our discretion.
Stock Appearing (SA)
Requirements:
• Stock appearing turbocharger
o Compressor / turbo inlet must be stock size.
o No visible external wastegates

• Must have stock appearing intake and exhaust manifolds or a factory heat shield rending any upgrade undetectable.
• Front mount intercoolers and upgrades are acceptable
• DOT Radials Only
• Must have full interior & exhaust
Stock Appearing / Unlimited (SA/U)
Requirements:
• Stock frame turbocharger
o External wastegates are acceptable
o Intake and Exhaust manifold upgrades are acceptable
o 2G DSMs may run TD05H variations (14B, 16G, etc).
• Tire Restrictions:
o AWD/RWD: DOT approved drag radials
o FWD: Slicks up to 26”
#####
Bracket Classes: Sportsman Tree
#####
The following bracket classes are for participants that may not fit into one of our elimination classes or prefer to race in a bracket style format. Use the time trials and qualifying sessions to hone in on your dial in and make sure to write it on your window prior to eliminations! Competitors in these classes must pass a general safety inspection.
Bracket 1 (B1): 13.99+
Bracket 2 (B2): 12.00-13.99

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
Stock Appearing (SA)
Requirements:
• Stock appearing turbocharger
o Compressor / turbo inlet must be stock size.
o No visible external wastegates
o 2G DSMs may run TD05H variations (14B, 16G, etc).
• Must have stock appearing intake and exhaust manifolds (Swaps between generations allowed)
• Front mount intercoolers and upgraded BOV allowed
• Unlimited fuel modifications (alternative fuel allowed, no nitrous)
• DOT approved Tires Only, tread rating over 100 required
• Must have full interior & exhaust that exits behind rear tires
• Any ECU mods allowed (standalones allowed)
Stock Appearing / Unlimited (SA/U)
Requirements:
• Stock frame turbocharger
o External wastegates are acceptable in any configuration
o Intake and Exhaust manifold upgrades are acceptable in any configuration
o 2G DSMs may run TD05H variations (14B, 16G, etc).
• Must have full exhaust that exists behind rear tires
• Unlimited fuel modifications (alternative fueling allowed, injection of methanol and nitrous allowed)
• Any ECU mods allowed (standalones allowed)
• Tire Restrictions:
o AWD: DOT approved drag radials
o RWD: DOT approved drag radials
o FWD: Slicks up to 24.5”
The tweaks above will help separate the SA and SA/U classes and keep the SA classes competitive for people "just starting out on mods"

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
Yea I was just trying to list the restrictions or points of protest instead of listing a yes or no for everything. I don't know that I would personally want nitrous allowed in SA/U, anyone else?

Maybe not SA/U with nitrous.
But the question becomes, do you allow meth injection in SA/U or SA? What about Propane injection?
The concern is that meth or propane are what some use to try to compete with E-85 setups that would probably be allowed in SA. I agree on the yes/no, just trying to cover the other questions that may come up with the list.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
I'm not sure that I would want to restrict it in any class, if they're running pump gas they're going to need something to keep up with the E85 guys lol

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
Looks good to me. Niterydr's additions look good and add more clearity. Are all classes except Bracket going to be running pro tree? I always thought it was weird racing in a "street" class with pro tree but thats Just my opinion.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
The Honda guys are insisting on pro tree and I think it fits for heads up classes (brackets obviously need the sportsman tree for delays)

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
I agree with the pro tree being weird.
Honda idiots, what they think they are pros? Didn't look like 80% of the people even knew how to stage.
I'd allow nitrous in SA/U class, why not its basically a balls out class for stock appearing turbos.
Real Street / Unlimited (RS/U)
Requirements:
• Turbocharger Restrictions: 58mm maximum inducer - wonder who this is for?
• Maximum of one power adder
• Must have full exhaust
• Tire Restrictions:
o AWD: DOT approved drag radials
o RWD: DOT approved drag radials
o FWD: Slicks up to 24.5”

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
I also think nitrous should be allowed for unlimited classes. It is after all "UNlimited"

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
Great improvement over previous years. I'm not a fan of pro-tree other than maybe the outlaw class as I'd guess 90% of us out there are aren't anywhere near "pros".
I kind of feel like there is a big gap between 58mm and 67mm. There's a lot of guys running 61/62mm turbos who'd like to be competitive that are going to be stuck racing 67mm monsters.
Either way, still a great improvement over last year!

I like this idea cause even if your car is faster it gives the slower car a chance if they can cut a good light!

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
I think rsu should be put back to 62mm max like originally suggested. It is the biggest common street turbo.
Although the 58 does help the smaller turbo guys I'm sure that's not why it was suggested, lol.

I guess but looking at the FWD guys that ran last year people with a 58, 62, 67, 72 all ran between 10.1 to 10.5 so I guess if your trying to make it fair for the rest of the field it will work.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
What about the interior rules?
Those seen to be left out, you can't try to shape classes to represent street cars then have idiots pulling out seats and carpet at the track.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
I like the 58mm and smaller class, give the smaller turbo guys a chance. I see plenty of 62mm cars that make the same or more power than 67mm cars, but it more comes down to the rest of the setup.
I dunno if some of the auto guys might need nitrous to just get off the line though in the single power adder classes.
I like sportsman tree, nobody that runs this event is a "Pro".

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
I think pro tree is extremely stupid, this is harsh but like I said 90% of the people last year had no clue how to even stage and now you are going to throw the pro tree?
That is gonna suck, I personally hate pro tree and to be honest don't know anyone that really likes it.
Correction, only person that thinks its a good idea is nate.
